BladeThe sweet taste of pain
Lingering at the end of every nerve
Dripping blood like fresh drops of rain
This blade is the only master I serve.
The ContradictionA demon in my dreams
A god in nightmares
Nothing's as it seems
When you never know who cares
The claws in my happiness
The lotion on my shame
The ease to my loneliness
The cause of all my pain
The reason I get no sleep
But the reason that I tire
The wound that lies so deep
And the life of all my fire
The one I hold so dear
Yet wish not to see
The voice I cannot hear
Yet still's a part of me
I cannot feel alive
But not yet am I dead
With you I start to thrive
But my heart is full of lead

:thumb245608759: PainDistance-free
Out of my mind
Oh, big thee
Never stare or look at me
Distance-free
Dark Horizon, hydra's feather
Feel the whispers as they gather
And feed me
Emporium of the mind.
Limit the lights, mountain ranges on the skies
Wild honey, streams and nature
A rose inside the dream, far away and long between
The caressed burdens… Take my hand, the magic wand
Dark snow falls
Black clouds cover my head
The red wines become steel-green
No more thoughts to lose or gain
None will try, none will succeed
Lesser stories on the wind
Nothing in vain, no more felt pain
I will never hurt anyone again
I promise… I will love for an eternity
I will become a courier for messengers to send
I promise… I will strive in mediocrity

:thumb256199276: White NoiseAs time passes, hours creep into days
Beyond reckoning
It all slips, descends into a haze
Still beckoning
Will I follow?
Unachievable status of a master of his time
Inconceivable boundaries, mirrored in his mind
Reflections of the blind man never knowing his own face
Master of time, oblivious to space
As time passes, hours creep into days
Beyond reckoning
It all slips, descends into a haze
Still beckoning
I walk in empty space
Down into darkness, no sun to tell the hour
No way to harness the consumer of the power
Towering over, almost touching the light
Can't come any closer for fear of losing sight
As time passes, hours creep away
Beyond reckoning
I followed blind and lost my way
Playing by ear as sounds toyed with my mind
Blending together, white noise is all I find

The StoryI wake up every morning,
Another great dream about how we could be.
I wish it was real every morning,
But I don't really expect it to change.
I wake up another morning,
I see a text from you; this is too good to be
True, wow, this morning.
I really hope your mind doesn't change.
I wake up another morning,
Remembering yesterday; it was the perfect date.
I think I love you this morning.
I don't want you ever to change.
I wake up another morning,
Look at how fast the time has just flown right by.
Another year together this morning.
I don't want us ever to change.
I wake up another morning,
I see this beautiful ring that you gave me
On a date yesterday evening.
I can't believe our life's about to change.
I wake up on this perfect morning,
It's the day that I've waited for; a wedding right on the shore.
I can't wait for it this morning.
I don't want us ever to change.
All We Had Was A FlagThey took it from us.
"Please don't take our flag away," we asked them. "This is our flag, the flag of the nation, the flag of the people. You can't take our flag from us!"
They did not listen.
Two months ago, we found that flag lying on a park bench. "That's not right", one of us said. "A flag should not be just lying around. Let's raise it!"
So we did. It did not soar majestically over our heads as flags usually do. It hung only as high as one of us could reach, tied to a tree branch with discarded shrink wrap. But it was our flag.
We raised it to show that we were one with the people around us. Not just with those who stayed at the park all the time, but also with those who came by to stay with us for a few minutes or hours. With those who rode the tour buses past the park, with those who passed by without giving us but a sideways glance, even with those who stayed at the edge of the park, keeping a wary eye on us.
In the old days, explorers raised flags on new lands, claiming them
