Dreaming in a RainbowShe walked through the pouring rain
Letting it soak to her bones
She doesn't even raise her head

As she reached her destination
A lone tear slides down her cheek
Mixing with the rain

There is no one else
As she crosses the bridge
She is totally alone

She stands on the railing
Balancing precariously
As more tears mixed with the rain

No other souls are around
As she looks
At the raging waters below

Arms spread wide
She opens her arms to the sky
Gently whispering 'goodbye'

The pounding rain stops
And she looks in confusion
As she sees clear blue in front of her

The railing still wet,
She grasped onto the wire suspension

Keep on DreamingThere are dreams in this world
Dreams of anything and everyone

Dreams are more than we believe
More than we actually dream

Dreams inspire
With a bit of faith
Dreams can become reality

Dream on, keep dreaming
You never know where those dreams may go.

Dreams change the world
Dreams can do anything

Dreams created the world
As everything that ever is, or was,
Began with a dream.

What is Love?Love,
Love is numb,
Number than the seventh shot of patron.

Love is cold,
Colder than the heart of the devil himself.

Love is a thrill,
It sends chills faster than a speeding coaster.

Love is warm,
Warmer than a fireplace on a cold winter's night.

Love is trust,
The trust of falling and always being caught safe.

Love is a necessity,
Without love we can only have lust.

Society's FreaksThis world is cruel
if you're different from the rules,

but there is a place
for unknown faces,
where the freaks unite
ignoring society's insult-packed bites

They fall
and crawl.

Yet they don't give in
to this world's sins.

They keep their march steady,
they're always ready
to get up, ignoring the disapproval everyone sends
til the pain and darkness is at an end.

One day, you will have to choose a path
along with the sins, whether greed or wrath,
choose the path different from the rest,
because that is where you'll shine best.

Still Beautiful to MeWhen people tease you for the way that you look,
Please know this isn't your war.
Close the book. Burn the pages.
Our soul is like a piece of paper,
Easily ripped to pieces,
Though beauty is hidden between pages,

You sit still contemplating how to please those you hate,
Will you become one of them, or will you be yourself?
You let your inner demons lead the way,
As you follow aimlessly, is there any point to life anymore?

A very true and great poem indeed. I especially enjoyed how you did the coloring, very nice. I understand length isn't necessarily everything in a poem, but I (just a personal preference) would have looked forward to more reasons as to why we are all "beautiful", such as maybe the hurtful people engaging in a hurtful action that can be ignored. That, in turn, would maybe lead to more things to add to the list of "it isn't about what you...".

Again, a very nice poem with a good flow as well as a touching message. I doubt that even one person that reads this can honestly say that they haven't been touched by this and/or experienced this great realization that you have put together in one twelve line poem.
